Our sport and professional life can be a huge part of our identity. When things aren't going well, it can hit us hard. Our ability to feel happy can often be dependant on our physical well-being, and vice versa. As a former professional dancer and personal trainer, I enjoy helping people achieve their health and performance goals and overcome the psychological obstacles that can get in the way.
HEALTH
Making change to food and exercises habits can sound easy but be quite hard in reality. Strict diets have a tendency to be short-lived and leave individuals worse off than before. With over a decade of experience helping individuals create lasting dietary and exercise changes to improve their health, I would be happy to help you navigate this process.
MOTIVATION
Lost the drive, passion or desire you once had for your sport or work? Procrastinating? Waiting for the motivation to come? Continually feeling disappointment in your performance?
I offer tools to shift your mindset, train more productively, and engage in self talk that is constructive, not self-critical. Lets get you out the door and back to enjoying your training and competition.
REHABILITATION
Dealing with injuries, surgeries and limitations is hard to face. Physical pain can be a barrier, but so can emotional pain. Hopelessness, feelings of futility, regret, self-criticism and many more can lead us to avoid the rehab we have been prescribed. I can help you understand and cope with the feelings that arise during these times of distress and help give you tools to tackle the rehabilitation process one step at a time.
PEAK PERFORMANCE
Whether you are a top c-suite executive or a sponsored athlete, being at the top of your class can be both exhilerating and demanding. Learn tools to help cope with the stress and demands of your job as well as ways to stay in a peak-performance "flow-state".
